Cette planche de skate, avec en son centre l’inscription “Life is fun” est une incitation à vivre, à profiter de l’instant présent dans toute sa préciosité et sa spontanéité, sans porter attention au regard d’autrui. Sébastien Dominici a conçu cette œuvre tout en ayant à l’esprit son expérience de vie personnelle qui, en tant qu’insulaire, fut particulièrement marquée par le fait de vivre à travers le regard des autres, le conduisant parfois à agir à l’encontre de lui-même et de ses désirs.

This skateboard, with the inscription "Life is fun" in its centre, is an invitation to live, to enjoy the present moment in all its preciousness and spontaneity, without paying attention to the gaze of others. Sébastien Dominici conceived this work with his personal life experience in mind, which, as an islander, was particularly marked by the fact of living through the eyes of others, sometimes leading him to act against himself and his desires.
