Né en 1978, Monsieur Foray est un artiste autodidacte depuis 2015. Sensible aux incohérences du monde contemporain, son travail explore une esthétique de la tension et du chaos, mettant en scène l’être humain dans sa complexité.
Influencé par l’art figuratif et les artistes contemporains, il construit une mythologie personnelle où chaque sculpture est une pièce d’un univers en évolution, tissant un lien entre l’imaginaire et le réel. La sculpture devient le médium où corps et esprit se confrontent à la matière.
À partir de l’argile, il crée des formes brutes et texturées, qu’il traduit ensuite en béton, un matériau imposant qui reflète son attrait pour le brutalisme. Chaque sculpture incarne une réflexion profonde sur les tensions internes et externes, une exploration poétique des contradictions humaines.
Monsieur Foray invite le spectateur à réfléchir sur sa place dans l’univers et à percevoir, au-delà de la dissonance apparente, une quête d’harmonie dans le chaos.

Born in 1978, Monsieur Foray has been a self-taught artist since 2015. Sensitive to the inconsistencies of the contemporary world, his work explores an aesthetic of tension and chaos, staging the human being in all his complexity.
Influenced by figurative art and contemporary artists, he constructs a personal mythology where each sculpture is a piece of an evolving universe, weaving a link between the imaginary and the real. Sculpture becomes the medium where body and spirit confront matter.
From clay, he creates raw, textured forms, which he then translates into concrete, an imposing material that reflects his attraction to brutalism. Each sculpture embodies a profound reflection on internal and external tensions, a poetic exploration of human contradictions.
Mr. Foray invites viewers to reflect on their place in the universe, and to perceive, beyond apparent dissonance, a quest for harmony in chaos.
