Jaime Sicilia is a Spanish artist whose work is about nature, the horizon, and more specifically the sea. In his collection of "Mares", the artist proposes a contemplation of the sea and its changing horizon, which provokes complex emotions in the viewer. At once quiet and calm, or constant change and evolution, the presence of the sea invites meditation, where the viewer's gaze projects its inner state.
